Sauteed Morels with Garlic
Here is a simple yet 'meaty' recipe to delight your taste buds.
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 pound ChoiceMorels
4 large cloves garlic, minced (more or less to taste)
1 tablespoon dried basil (or fresh if available)
1 cup red wine
Heat the butter in s skillet over medium heat. Add the frozen ChoiceMorels and cook until thawed. Add the garlic, cook and stir until the mushrooms are light golden brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in the basil and wine and reduce heat to low. Simmer until most of the wine is evaperated and serve immidiatly.
